Wood elevation for urban densification
Lylo Media Group is an audio-visual company working in localization and digital distribution for the cinema and TV industries. Its french headquarters were established in the heart of Paris in an industrial building requiring an ambitious renovation and elevation operation. The new building is therefore set to become a platform capable of hosting secure production and recording studios obeying NPAA standards which establish good practices in the storage, processing and dissemination of multimedia data.
The architectural program required an elevation of 2 levels over the 4 existing ones. A large tree-lined terrace overcomes the complex and promises users a generous view of the Val de Grâce district. The wooden frame structure guarantees rapid and clean installation. New thermoregulatory facades bring comfort and energy savings. The future building will retain its industrial and contemporary character allowing it to interact with existing facades.
